"Financial Freedom" Isn't Just A Dream

by Thomas Turner

"Financial freedom" is the dream of a number of the employed. It certainly appears like an attractive proposition. However, have you taken time out to think about what it entails? Everyone will have their own unique experience of it, therefore prior to spending fruitless time searching for "financial freedom", it might be practical to examine what that really signifies to you.

You may have realized that time and money are inversely related. This generally means that you can trade one for the other in most situations, and if you actually stop to consider the relevance of this point to both your daily life and the way in which you carry out a business, you will see the truth of this point.

Wouldn't you like to have more free personal time instead of cleaning the house or mowing the lawn? You could pay someone to do these simple chores for you. Of course you would not want to spend that newly found personal time exploring your options when there are specialists available to do this chore for you!

With this thought in mind, financial freedom can be defined generally as getting to that point in life where you do not have to deal your time for cash so as to support what you require in life. You will see that there are two main things in that scheme - do not have to deal and what you require.

These are the two things that you must determine on your own, when considering what financial freedom means to you individually. For a great many people financial freedom is simply the ability to not have to work for a living. They simply want to be able to step out of the rat race of getting up and going to their daily job to pay the bills.

Sometimes people are of the opinion that they will be able to escape the stresses of the job itself, unpleasant work environments, travel requirements, tediousness of the job, etc. Still others might desire more family time, and time to spend on their hobbies. Often it is the combined sum of these factors. Many "success secrets" exist and liking what you do is among the "keys to success".

Many working people dream of attaining financial freedom. It may mean different things to different people, so even before you waste your time looking for freedom from financial worries, perhaps it is sensible to scrutinize what the idea actually means to you. Some people think that they can get away from the strains of a profession itself, disagreeable working situations, travel, monotony of the work, etc. Others may want to spend more time with their family and practice their personal interests. For many people, it is a combination of these. There are many success secrets, and one of the keys to success is to enjoy whatever you do.
