Hair Loss Treatments: Ask For A Free Sample

by Andrea Morris

The simplest solutions to your problem are toupees or transplants. However, a number of other possibilities do exist. When investigating, remember that the cost and simplicity vary widely. Additionally, some of them can be done in privacy at home, while others require a visit to the office.

Steamer treatments work somewhat like a sauna. The treatment will open your pores and allow them to get rid of any waste inside. You can do this in your own bathroom with hot towels and the right product. Another option is to go into a sauna where you can treat every pore on your body.

A great option is a high frequency current. This current will stimulate the surface of your scalp. It will give the cells of your scalp a massage. This stimulation can improve your nourishment, blood circulation in the area, and glandular activity. Another benefit is the warmth feels good to the nervous system around your scalp area.

The process of using lasers to start the growth of hair is a relatively recent invention. The patient is seated, and treated to a small charge through the top of his head. This treatment supposedly electrifies the cells, resulting in hair growth. Unfortunately the resulting bill is rather expensive, and may take two to three dozen sessions.

Scalp massage is normally carried out to loosen the scalp, and assist penetration of the medication. It is claimed that it also arouses the surface blood supply. Allegedly embryonic hair is formed from materials transported by the same capillary system.

Most clinics actually have their own line of tonics, shampoos, and conditioners for hair. Many of the top clinics sell a several month course of tonic, shampoo, and scalp cleanser. These are far from cheap, and the complaint is generally raised that they are not worth the value that the consumer gets from them. The best way to go about deciding to use one of these products to treat your hair loss is to get a list of the three main ingredients in each one, then take that list to your doctor and get their expert opinion on whether or not those ingredients have been shown to make a difference for those suffering hair loss. You should also ask for a free sample of the product, if they are unwilling to provide a free sample, then it is likely that the clinic doesn't have much belief in their own product, and this goes a long way in telling you whether it is worth the cost.
