Learn To Stop Spyware Before It Hurts Your System

by Ron Rogers

My friend is a sport fisherman, at least that's what he daydreams about, on a monday thru Friday he repairs computers and performs an outstanding job and has earned a perfect reputation. When I'm stuck with a personal computer dilemma, he's the one I key-in and no matter how hard or complex the problem, give him some space and he'll find a way out. He mentioned something unsettling last week, it seems that a large percentage of the home computers he fixes have spyware or adware on their hard drives, and a good number of people are ignorant of it; calling him when their machines slow or stall.

The Internet is analogous to a living, breathing organism always developing, and sometimes not in a helpful direction, though it surely has given me a career and income. As the days flow and expertise moves forward, so also does spyware & adware. It is important in today's environment to have Spyware Removal software on your system and to use it often; essential is running software updates, since what may have worked last time may jump over a virus or malwarecoded since the previous scan.

As a test for this report (using a separate and clean system) I ran a test, turning OFF any spyware removal software then purposedly visiting several traffic trade sites. These surfing exchanges are ideal for new marketers, giving them the opportunity to deliver visitors to particular websites, simply by their at the sites of other newbies. They work like this:

You visit site 'A' and receive a credit for doing so. The credits are assigned to a site you want to promote. when other people surf, your site or offer will be displayed. The system is designed so everyone gets a look at someone elses site.

The person who first invented this is brilliant, there are some that (not all) of these sites are either run by or visited by people with dishonesty on their mind. Their scheme not to simply display their offer or website, but to send spyway to your computer. And today some adware is intelligient enough to start the download of spyware onto your computer, as easily as surfing to their home page. I'm not knocking these sites or telling you not to use them, I am suggesting caution and recommending you be certain your computer is safe.

If this concerns you, experienced people say you already have or will soon run into spyware or adware. If you are wondering, I don't visit those kinds of sites and I certainly don't install illegal titles, then pat yourself on the back, but you are still at risk. Take the your computer. To quote the old warning...

'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'

In this day and age it not only makes good sense, its mandatory to protect yourself. There is a lot of your data, either from work or personal standpoint; think of opening your eyes up to discover all your details gone. Frightening, positively... Could it happen?... It's happened to others. Preventable? Yes you can by using the most highly rated adware removal programs.

Were you aware that spyware was so widespread, perhaps you're wondering what will spyware and adware do to my system. Outstanding, happy to know you're concerned. For the most part spyware and adware are not rampant killers, instead they are like a fly on the wall. keeping records and data, then reporting your activity to a website; they may trigger ads and in most cases can clog your PC, slow your processor and lessen your connection to the world wide web. It's not so much the damage done, but the fact that your life, your privacy, your system has been breached and these people (whomever they are) have no right to be there.

The net is a safer place because there are sharp people who feel exactly the same way I feel; these programmers are willing to not take this lying down. I'm not a programmer, My skill is writing, and I submit this article to offer advance warning and recommend you to take action and guard your network. I am grateful to those programmers with the hard work and heart to code and offer for public use these fine spyware removal tools.

When you decide on one of the spyware/adware programs to use, I'd recommend frequent scans of your home computer. When you set up the spyware removal tool properly, all of the hard work is done automatically, and in all probability while you're asleep.
